Background:
Avid Entertainment wanted to provide educational seminars, film making competition and extend their
marketing reach at the Sundance Film Festival
Goal
- Avid wanted to build awareness for its daily events at the Sundance Film Festival and find a way to
stand out from all the other noise at Sundance.
Solution
- Avid used 3Screens’ platform, keywords and unique short code to create a text campaign publicized
in the Show Daily, Festival Program, and on swag at various locations at the Festival. Participants
opted-in for alerts on Avid’s events and promotions.
Results
- Attendance at Avid’s events increased over 30% from previous years.
